Restoration Garden is a high-end, full service landscape design company that provides thoughtful, well-designed outdoor living spaces. We consider ourselves a boutique business, and therefore pride ourselves on giving you the best we have to offer in personalized customer service.
Amy Rovine is both the owner and landscape design director for Restoration Garden.
Amy has been designing landscapes for over 20 years. Having started out in Arizona, her working materials were succulents, native desert shrubs, decomposed granite and other regional materials.
Returning east to New Jersey in 2003, design elements changed to more vibrant, colorful perennials and annuals, as well as a more varied palette of deciduous shrubs and trees, and soft composted mulch to top-dress garden beds.
Acquiring a combined education from Savannah College of Art and Design, and Prescott College in AZ, Amy’s studies centered on interior design, photography, drawing, painting and art history, along with outdoor and environmental education. With this academic experience, she built a foundation which lent itself naturally to landscape design. Self taught from the age of 25, she has gained extensive knowledge in horticulture, permaculture, native plants, landscape design principles, and masonry. Operating a small business for over 20 years, she has refined the level of professionalism, aesthetics and expertise that she can bring to your design experience.
Our principal specialties at Restoration Garden extend from creating curb appeal for the front of your home, to designing full-scale estates, to creating outdoor fireplaces and custom raised garden beds. We are dedicated to constructing individualized, creative, aesthetically elegant compositions specific to your geographic site.
Our collaborative process takes into account all of your ideas about your current and future outdoor lifestyle needs, which we’ll transform from notes on a page into inviting spaces for you and your family to spend time in.
The finished results are stunning, unique landscapes, that can be enjoyed for years to come.
